Diana Peraino

Diana Peraino started KDD Builders along with Bob Duefler after her 25 years of deep experience in being one of the very few women in the building and construction business in Bergen County. Her goal is to provide her clients with the utmost care in building their custom home. Diana studied mechanical engineering at the Saunders Trade and Technical High School where she gained her passion for building. She later studied finance in college, leveraging both skills while working for a commercial builder, Trinity Development Corp in Yonkers, New York. During her time here she worked on managing several commercial building leases along with tenant discussions and vendor management.

In 1997, Diana took the role of Project Manager for the development of a 120 assisted and independent living facility, the Drum Hill Senior Living Center in Peekskill, NY. Diana worked daily interfacing with city officials and subcontractors to ensure the project stayed on budget. She became familiar with the detailed requirements of approvals and reviews needed before a Certificate of Occupancy can be provided.

In the 2000s, the daily commute from Bergen County over the Hudson River became tiresome while trying to raise two daughters with her husband. Diana worked for several local builders of high-end homes in the Bergen County area. She has coordinated the building of multi-family units in Palisades Park, Englewood Cliffs, and Upper Saddle River. She has built high-end residential homes HoHoKus, Ridgewood, Cresskill, Saddle River, Mahwah, Franklin Lakes, and Wyckoff.
